“Extremely warm and friendly guide and skilled and considerate driver. Both clearly loved spending time with the animals as much as we did.”

“We had a fantastic safari experience! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many fascinating facts about the animals and their natural behavior. We especially appreciated how much she cared about the animals’ well being and made sure we observed them in a respectful way. Both she and the driver made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the tour. Thanks for a great experience.”

“An excellent experience with Nadeera as our guide. He was prompt, friendly and respectful of the animals.

We came with two young children and the seatbelts were perfectly working for their travel car seats. He spotted animals and shared information about them as well as giving the animals space and respect that they deserve.

We were very impressed by the whole experience!”

“Incredibile safari, if you’re looking for an ethical experience this is it. The guide was professional with years of experience, he told us so many interesting stories about animals. We always respect them, never too close, never blocking them to move. Thanks for everything Nadeera”

“The BEST safari in Udawalawe! Nadeera arrived early in the morning for our 6hr safari to collect us from our hotel and take us directly to the park. We saw loads of wildlife, including elephants (and a 1day old baby!), crocodile, monitor lizards, wild boar and loads of different birds! We even stopped by the side of a lake for a romantic honeymoon safari breakfast (breakfast came from our hotel, but Nadeera provided the most delicious fresh fruit and some drinks).

I had heard a few negative things about safaris in Sri Lanka, and wanted to ensure we were going to be in the best hands for ourselves, but also for the animals too. Nadeera was so incredibly knowledgeable about every animal we saw, he made sure the animals safety was first, so they didn’t get distressed with the jeeps etc., he gave us insight and shared his knowledge on the wildlife, their habitats and habits. We stopped to check out leopard tracks, although we didn’t manage to see any leopards, Nadeera’s knowledge and genuine love and care for the animals shone through. If you’re in Sri Lanka and wanting to do a safari through Udawalawe, we would highly recommend Nedeera!”

“Went on safari with wife, also one of the first in the park. The first batch of trucks went straight ahead and were already stuck in traffic(…). Luckily, our guide/driver soon took an exit and continued into the park with an alternative route.

Soon found some elephants, later also a whole family. We also saw other animals: most of them we encountered when we got rid of the masses. In the morning the animals are best seen.

Our guide also realized immediately when the engine of the jeep could be turned off better.
At the beginning I saw some other companies jeeps blocking the way for the elephants and stuff. Our driver/guide (Nadeera) iig didn’t do that, but that’s why my wife booked this tour as well.

Great company to book, we had the long tour and were picked up in the morning at half past five.”
