“Firstly, Nadeera helped us to organize our 6-hour safari, and he was very kind, quick and responsive. He also organized a driver to pick us up and drop off in Marissa after. Our guide Avishka was incredibly knowledgeable and well-spoken. She took time to explain what each animal was and their behaviours. We saw so much… of course elephants (🐘😍), but also monkeys, chameleons, crocodiles, lizards, buffalo, mongoose, a huge variety of bird life and more 🧡 Also a big thank you to our mindful driver Sashi! We kept a respectful distance from the animals and turned of the jeep engine when observing. They even provided us free coffee water and snacks.

“We had the best day exploring Udawalawe National Park with Avishka and Sashi. The full day was well worth the time – we saw so many animals and Avishka did the best job at spotting, identifying and sharing facts about all the animals. We had the yummiest breakfast and lunch homemade by Avishka’s mum – thank you team for accommodating our vegan dietary requirements so well. We couldn’t recommend this safari experience enough, especially if you want to observe the animals without bothering them – we always kept a safe distance, turned the engine off wherever possible and let the animals come to us if they wanted to. “Avishka and the team were so friendly and organized. We saw so much, but we loved how this company didn’t hassle the animals like some others appear to. They knew all the spots to see things away from the crowds in nice, peaceful spots. It was so good having Avishka with us to point everything out and her knowledge of the animals and park is amazing. We definitely wouldn’t have seen the subtle animals (iguana, birds and crocodile) without a guide in the back with us. Food was great and huge portions. WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE LOOKING FOR HIGH QUALITY AND RESPECTFUL SAFARIS. (From Australia)”
