“The safari was amazing and we were very fortunate (and lucky) to come across elephants within the first few minutes of the tour starting. The driver and guide were great at pointing out interesting wildlife and giving background information. The guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful of the animals and their environment. Worth a visit! The company also helped arrange a reasonably priced private car to pick us up from our hotel (Hiriketiya Beach). Recommend going during the early time slot..”

“Our guide Avishka was amazing! We felt really honored to have Udawalawe first female safari guide share her knowledge and excitement with us on this safari. We entered the National park and first things she spots for us is a chameleon! We then go on to see elephants, crocodiles, spotted deer, monkeys and birds (eagles and kingfishers!) We learnt a lot and she answered all our questions with confidence. We felt very safe with our driver and he even spotted things for us along the track ! For morning tea, we had beautiful handmade pancakes with coconut and honey in them – they were delicious – along with some refreshments. Highly recommend this tour ! Great way to support Sri Lankan women and priorities ethical and sustainable tourism!”
